Zombies ate my Neighbors was a great game for the Snes.  It seems it was over looked by a lot of people, which is a shame.

It was a great game for genesis to I used to spend hours apon hours on sega channel playing that game. An early perfect example of Konami being bat crap nuts

Awesome game, truly awesome. I still get the music stuck in my head from time to time. Such a shame that Monster Madness didn't live up to potential as spiritual sequel.

A. It was an awesome game, and totally insane. B. It doesn't hold up as well as I might have hoped. C. The number of watchmen avatars in this thread is amazing.

Doesn't hold up? That's a bit of a bummer. I had my SNES hooked up about a year and a half ago and played some, it seemed perfectly fun to me. I'm planning on digging it out again in the next couple of weeks, reading and writing about old games has me itching to play them again.

As an aside, is this on the wii virtual console? I remember hearing that it had been ESRB approved for it aaaages ago and was hoping for an XBLA release but didn't hear any further.

What a great game that was, my friend and I would play that for hours on end...The hedge maze level was so hard!

I loved this game when I was a kid. The gameplay might not hold up, but the music sure does.

I've played it! It's one of my favorite games of all time! I missed it so much, that I bought it on eBay and bought something that could play SNES games just so I could play it. It still seems just as awesome as before, though I wonder why I find it so fun in the first place. But whatever.

Definitely a great game.  I spent many hours playing through this on co-op with my cousins.

It's a fun game and I play it still every now and again, but I never got too into it.
