Zombies!!! finally has a video game
Big Rooster dropped the ball years ago and now Babaroga has finally brought Zombies!!! to Xbox Live. Sadly it's only available on WP7 so far but the same game is scheduled to hit Live Arcade and PSN... eventually. It's worth the wait! Very competent implementation. All of the rules are there and it's very VERY easy to pick up and play. If you've ever played Carcassonne on Live then you're familiar with this particular genre of board game. You place a tile and connect the roads, you roll for your movement, and any encounters with the undead flesh eaters results in you rolling for damage. Run out of hearts and you lose half of your kills and go back to the starting tile! Bullets augment you damage score if need be and you are dealt cards with modifiers or specific bonuses when used in certain buildings. Hot swap multiplayer only but with promises to bring the game online soon! This game would have received 4 stars from me if it had multiplayer built in. Even though WP7 phones support turn based multilayer gaming already, the feature is sadly missing from the WP7 version of the phone.
