Apparently it is intended to be a reboot of Ubisoft's first game, Zombi. With all the stuff being said on the site about its name at least it makes a little more sense now.

Seriously though, I had no idea that game existed. Its original release was the year I was born. Didn't realize I was the same age as Ubisoft.
