Concepts

Feelie

Physical props, clues, or trinkets included within game boxes by Infocom in the 1980s. They were often used to convey in-game information, add value, or as early copy protection.
Game Over

Game Over originally appeared in pinball machines, and later, arcade machines. When you lose at a game, it is game over.

Second-Person Perspective

In second person point of view, the action is shot from the perspective of a character who is not the protagonist. To qualify, the player must continue being in control of the protagonist, but see action through the eyes of another character which he can interact with. Typically, the player views themselves from another character's point of view. Two second person games are Second Person Shooter Zato, a free online game, and Siren (also known in EU as Forbidden Siren) for PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
