I thought Jan liked Harry Potter stuff. Am I imagining that?

I would have been happy just to see Ishin localised, so to get a full Dragon Engine remake... That's about the most exciting game news I've heard in a while, and it's been a busy time.

Damn Tekken 8 looks so good! Fighting games are back babeeeeee.

@lyndbako: I think given JK Rowling's shittiness towards an already unfairly marginalized community, its tough for people to support anything new coming out of that world. I completely respect that individuals growing up with Harry Potter may no longer want anything to do with her creation. Whether she's involved with this product or not; she's a bag of shit and personally really let me down.

(JKR ignorance aside) I grew up as a HP fan and at face value it seems like a really interesting game; it's clear that the developers have a love and passion for this world and excited to see this chapter play out. Of course it'll be a huge bummer if the game is completely overlooked or ostracized regardless of its quality (and if it's a turd, no excuses!). I won't argue voting with your wallet, you do you! But realistically it's the developers that put years of hard work into this that'll end up hurting, not billionaire JK Shitbag.

Summary: I still love that world and will try the game out; but fuck JKR.

Video quality has been lower than normal lately.

Rise of the Ronin sounds a lot like Way of the Samurai from the little details they shared on the Playstation blog and I'm here for it. WotS is one of my all-time favorite series and it's like they made a game just for me.

I can hardly wait to learn more about it!

@risingsignal: Completely agree. My whole family agrees that JK is WAY wrong in the things she has said, but we are all excited to try this game out. I really feel for the devs that have put a lot of effort into this game, only to have people immediately dismiss it because of ignorant JKR.

Knack 2 looked quite fun, especially for new players to play with a family member.

The streets won't forget the quicklook of Knack 2 where they kinda wanted to keep playing because they were having a good time playing it. That game is totally fine, it just doesn't add anything new to the gaming landscape, but not every game has to push boundaries.

Pretty much all the games here looked like they will find a decent audience. Good showing, maybe 1 beloved PS1 or PS2 return would've be welcomed by me.

@risingsignal: thats a pretty good summary and I wish instead of ignoring all of that GB would take the time in those segments to explain what actually is going on and not just dismiss it. Many people don't even know what the problem is and raising awareness on what JK says and does would be time better spent than just saying nothing.

@mistercoke: I'm pretty sure they've brought it up in past segments or Bombcasts and what have you. At some point unfortunately it's like all the NFT talk, you run out of steam to call it out on its BS and it quietly continues to be problematic in the background. Jess and Jan were definitely vocal about the issues at one point much closer to when all that was 'breaking' so to speak. A shame because I like the universe but yikes man. Yikes.

@mistercoke: It's been discussed at length before, both here and in many international news outlets. It might be that the GB crew are simply tired of talking about JKR? Having to completely re-explain someone's shittiness every single time they are brought up must be exhausting.

@thisisdell:I occasionally find that embedded Youtube videos on the site set to auto quality won't get above 480p unless I hit the gear icon and manually set it up to 1080p - might be what's happening.

@whitegreyblack: its because of the process of recording the video. It‘s just much more low quality than the studio days. Starting to bug me.

Maybe local recordings for everyone and then an editor could put it all into the archive on the site. Obviously that would take hiring someone on. Other pet peeve is the talking to chat has GONE through the roof. Still love GB. Just putting an opionion out there. Nostalgia eiga for the studio days.
