    According to Joystiq Bethesda has registered the rights for Fallout in order to create "entertainment services in the nature of an on-going television program,". They've also registered "motion picture films about a post-nuclear apocalyptic world."

    I think I could get down for a weekly Post-Apocalyptic TV show. If it were on HBO or Showtime and it could be as crazy as it wanted, hell yes I'd like that. As for a film adaptation I'd be ok with that too, however if it turns out to be  basically a new Mad Max, then once again hell yes.

    A Fallout TV show could never have good enough production values to be genuine and make profit at the same time.


    Movies could be cool, though.

    I dunno, why would this show be unable to have high production values? I mean, Fallout wouldn't require crazy special effects, they shoot in a desert and manufacture burned out city-sets. Granted you look at a show like Jericho that failed, but they can do it right this time!
