I don't like trailers like this. There's no gameplay! As a teaser released a couple years before the game it's okay, but a few months out...what am I supposed to get out of some CG people playing poker and looking at heartrate monitors (for hearts they don't even have because they're CG?!)

There is less footage of cars in this racing game trailer than there is poker, and what is there is clearly not gameplay footage so this is just a trailer for the game's cinematics (if those cinematics are even in the game) which is not why I buy racers.

I hope they have an actual gameplay trailer at some point. This does nothing for me.

My opinion is similar to Bigsocrates above. This showed basically nothing, and the incredibly odd inclusion of poker being played does nothing to sell the game to me. Does poker even factor into the game? And, to be honest, I'm asking that question rhetorically: nothing in that trailer made me want to go and find out. Their marketing team decided that the most vibrant and interesting looking portion of their trailer should be the part that had nothing to do with driving, and that somehow was approved and developed upon.

Same, who's going head to head, the trailer studios?
The addition of poker is interesting, the dream of TDU is of being an extravagant car owner living in a paradise, playing around with other rich people, and the more activities they add for the multiplayer rich people to play around with the better.

@inevpatoria: They weren't the best, but the scale and the passive online interactions made up for it, i'm hoping the developer borrows their physics from the WRC games because the recent ones are fantastic.

TDU2, which this is a direct sequel to, had an in-game casino, so the gambling stuff is not exactly out of place for this series lol.

Anyway this trailer is very stupid but I kind of love it for that, because the TDU games are kind of stupid in an endearing way (just watch the beginning of the TDU2 quick look for an example). Obviously I want to see some gameplay before this comes out, but plenty of time for that.
