Love the game, saw it for $15 on GMG and thought about picking it up, how does it compare to the PS4 version?

It's essentially the same game, but you can use almost any control method you want and the PC version has a higher/more stable frame rate if you're running it on virtually any discrete GPU.

Pretty much the same, you can now even crossplay between the two in matches.

So I've put ~60 hours into the PC version version and picked up the PS4 version up at my friends house and man the difference is night and day. Maybe it is just because I have been without console for 4 years, but the PS4 version looked really bad and the limited fps really screwed with my head. The 4 player split screen on PS4 was nearly unplayable for me. I am sure I would get used to it after several rounds, but it was quite jarring at first.

The pc version can go above 60 fps if you change the .ini file I believe. Also, you can max out the settings on PC whereas you can't on the ps4.
