Scared As Hell
So I have not yet finished the game, in fact I have no idea how far I have left to go. You really don't get any sense of that AT ALL. I DO know is that I'm more afraid of sinister clicking than ever before. Seriously though, The Last of Us is an extremely story based and very engrossing game to play. This is my first experience of an R rated game. (Being from Australia it's kind of a big deal) Anywho, the story is emotional and quite hard hitting. I won't give away spoilers for those who have't had a chance to play it, but if you have you'll agree that the beginning is quite....heart wrenching. Definitely the most REAL apocalypse feeling I've felt from any movie or game. The visuals are fantastic feel very cinematic, but you know all of this.
I really love the mechanics of the game, although form the trailers and what not I expected it to be more realistic than it is, that said it is very hardcore to play. I'm a very nervous type gamer and I get easily freaked, so the clickers and what have you scare the crap out of me. But yeah, it's enjoyable so far and I'm really liking the story. I may or may not put up another review after I've finished the story, but for now it is by far one of the most impressive games I've ever played. Sony has a very big exclusive title right here that may tempt some Xbox players to acquire a second console.
