    Overview

Mamono Hunter Yohko: Dai-7 no Keishou ("Devil Hunter Yohko: 7th Alarm Bell") is a Sega Mega Drive platformer released exclusively in Japan. It is based on the Devil Hunter Yohko anime, which features its eponymous teenage heroine as the newest in a long line of warriors who protect the world from the threat of the demonic and supernatural.

Yohko uses a sword to defend herself across a number of side-scrolling levels filled with monsters and other hazards. She can also charge her qi (the player does this by holding the attack button) to produce a green shield that protects her from enemies and projectiles, but only to an extent. She can also fling this shield outwards to damage enemies, and it will return to her.
