    Overview

    0 A.D. is a historically based war game and has been in development since 2001. The game was first released in alpha in 2010 and the code is available to download for free under the GPL license.

    This RTS takes influence from Age of Empires; the initial design team being formed from a community of modders for Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings.
