Nearly six years in the making and finally A Vampyre Story is nearly in our, or maybe just my, hands. If you're at all interested in point and click adventure games I beg you to check this one out. It comes from the guy who made Curse of Monkey Island and is quite possibly the best hope for the genre in the last couple of years. The art work is fantastic and, quite frankly, this game gives me the gibbles that only adventure games can give. You can pre-order it off of Amazon using this conveniently placed clickie link, and you can learn more over at the official website or better yet Mix 'n' Mojo, and the Pumpkin Post.

Release Date is Almost Here!
I remember when this was first announced, but I had no idea it was close to being released. I thing this'll be great. I all honesty, by the amount of time used for its development I'm betting it has the possibility to be as memorable as Curse of the Monkey Islando, The Dig, Grim Fandango and so on.
Question though:
Will it be a retail release or sold only through the internet?
Whoa, it's finally (almost) out? I can still remember when this was first announced like 4 years ago. I was a regular poster over at Adventure Gamers back then and went through a phase of playing nothing but point 'n click adventures. Now I only play them once a year maybe.
Guess I'll pick this one up eventually; I've always liked the art style.

So far it's guaranteed that it will be out by mid-November but the chance of an October release is pretty slim.
