    The Abstract Daddy is a horrifically disfigured enemy in the Silent Hill franchise.

    Overview

    These are small hulking creatures which take the strange design of a walking bed, on top of which lie two writhing figures. The creature only manifests itself after James' fight with a larger version of it (check the "Abstract Daddy Boss" below). These smaller versions of the Abstract Daddy appear in the Lakeview Hotel, although Angela is no longer with them. The figures on top of these smaller version have been speculated to actually be James as he suffocated Mary, and that may be the reason why they show up in the Hotel without Angela's presence.

    Abstract Daddy Boss

    The Abstract Daddy also acts as a boss in the Lakeview Hotel level in Silent Hill 2. In said fight, the Abstract Daddy represents Angela Orosco's father and the notion that Angela was raped and abused by him when she was younger.
