This is what Abzu sounds like on my PC. Didn't know my audio was bugged until hearing Drew play the soundtrack for Best Music deliberations. I finished the game thinking what a weird soundtrack, but thought nothing of it since it's a pretty short game. I just assumed the composer was trying to evoke an alien vibe with the high-pitched tones, like a dolphin choir.

If Abzu was composed in the 20th century this is what it would sound like it...

I couldn't sit through that for 2 secs how did you manage 2 hours? Woah

Whoa that sounds crazy, how did you even manage to play this game at all?

@superjoe: I'd replay Abzu like this if you gave me a good dose of something good.

Reminds me of Penderecki's Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima.

@sinusoidal: Yes! I own some of Penderecki's music which feature a cacophony of noise (Utrenja, The Shining & The Exorcist soundtracks) so the Abzu audio didn't sound broken in comparison.

@mavs: This Doom bug sounds like a similar case with me. I watched some Abzu gameplay and my ambient sound effects are high-pitched as well. But I didn't think it was chipmunking since Abzu has no dialogue.
