A reboot of the Ace Combat series which adds flyable helicopters, destructible environments, and a cinematic pursuit system called "Close Range Assault".
I'm curious how it'll play with a HOTAS. I played through HAWX with a HOTAS. I know the new Ace Combat doesn't do that weird super-zoomed-out camera thing, but that was confusing as all hell in HAWX with a joystick and throttle.
The game had some issues, but the multiplayer was really fun on PS3, even though I always got matched against japanese players with terrible ping, I'll pick up a copy on PC as well, hope they'll make future Ace Combat games available for PC on launch.

Sadly it doesn't seem to have HOTAS support. Not that I have any such gear, but in the settings all I could find was the option to play with either keyboard/mouse or an 360 gamepad (where all the buttons seem preset). Given the way you can look around in the cockpit, I would've thought it could've be a perfect fit for track IR too, but, yeah, so far that's all the controller settings that are in there. If enough people tell Namco/Project Aces about it (it does seem to be an in-house port, Project Aces are the only developers credited as far as I can see), maybe they'll patch it in, but I wouldn't keep my hope up about that.
