As implied by my title this game felt like it fell outta Tell tale's wheelhouse circa 2008. In almost every way other than adding in a combat mini game. But first let me mention the plot. Finn & Jake find a magical ticker tape machine that magically prints out mysteries that are happening in the land of Ooo.
