Of all the game advertisements you could choose, you went for Age of Conan?

Age of Conan? Seriously?
Seriously. Advertising being in the state it's in, advertising revenue is advertising revenue. It's easy for you to say they should turn down advertising for this game. It's not putting money in your pocket.
Who gives a shit, I would'nt care if they werent even video game related, its not like you have to click to "skip this ad" or anything.
It's great that they have advertising, they deserve the money.
As long as I get my video content, and the Bombcast, they can rape my browser violently until it shows nothing but ads.
I am glad you are all taking my post very seriously. It was a very serious post that was delivered with powerful gravitas that should be treated with a certain amount of severity. The Giant Bomb community rarely fails at taking everything seriously, and I'm glad that that hallowed tradition has continued in this very somber thread. Thank you, and don't ever stop being so serious.
NOW I get it... this dude's from Ottawa. The place where people wrap robbery in fancy rhetoric and sell it to the public.
It's the place where cynicism is mistaken for idealism.
It's where favours are handed out for campaign contributions.
This guy will see any attempt at anyone making any money as evil.
" @Dejkrigeren said:I seriously doubt that..Funcom still has Anarchy Online running. And it took Matrix Online like 4-5 years too close down." as long as it's not viagra it's okay. "You wouldn't be able to tell from the shenanigans that happens around here!!!Either way, I saw the Conan ad and was like "I thought that game was extinct". Maybe it's foreshadowing to the next Not Like This run?"
Less QQ more pew pew.

Advertising is value neutral. I think it's pretty clear that advertisement does not equal endorsement by the publication. As long as you aren't profane and pay the bill, you can take out an ad in the New York Times and say any crazy thing you want. People have done just that in the past.
Gbomb deserves our support, so don't sweat it.
I don't mind the ads on GB if it keeps them up and running, i just find it ironic seeing what they've said about AoC on the bombcast. I know Funcom probebly doesn't listen to the bombcast but if they did they wouldn't be so eager to sink there ad dollars into the site.
But whatever! As long as the site makes money right?
The age of weird AoC ads continues.
Of all the things to put next to your text...you put some goofy dude with headphones?
