She was sent to Anakin by Master Yoda in an attempt to teach him about his responsibility to the greater Jedi community, and also because her personality was a good match for his brash style. She was discovered by Plo Koon as a very young Togruta girl, and was raised in the Jedi Temple. Young for her advancement to the rank of Padawan, Ahsoka is eager to prove herself worthy in the eyes of Anakin and the troops she helps command.
