Akira is the sister to Makoto. She is initially cold towards the player and is easily upset. Akira is not very fluent in English but she is a great cook.
Akira will serve as a guide to Akihabara, Ikebukuro, and Shibuya.
On the fifth day at Kyoto, she revealed that she is jealous of her sister Makoto's accomplishments. She suffers from an inferiority complex because her parents and relatives constantly showers praises on Makoto.
On the sixth day, she brought the player to Yokohama. She appeared to be ill and the player character suggested that they return home for her to rest. Akira assumed that the player character was not satisfied with her and became upset. Makoto then revealed that Akira had spent the preceding night studying about Yokohama. The player character apologized to her through her room door.
The next day, Akira confronted the player character and forgave him.
