    Overview

Albion is an RPG/adventure hybrid. The game primarily takes place from a fixed bird's eye perspective, although the game takes place from a first-person panoramic view in towns or dungeons. In addition to these modes, combat plays out on a grid in a turn-based fashion.

    Story

After crash landing on an alien jungle planet, Tom Driscoll (a pilot and the game's protagonist) and Rainer Hofstedt (a physicist and xenobiologist) find themselves shocked by the planet's abundance of life, having thought it a desert planet perfect for mining. While attempting to restore their ship, the two befriend and help an intelligent alien species called the Iskai. They also discover that the other intelligent race on the planet are humans like them, prompting a journey of discovery on how humanity reached a planet many light years away from Earth.
