Known as the 'Voice of Al-Samad', Shaheed serves as a spokesman for Al-Samad. While he is not the leader of the organization, he is undoubtedly someone very high in the ranks and has access to vast financial resources. He sees the United States of America as a corrupt nation, worthy of 'punishment'. Despite his hatred of America he is willing to assist Michael Thorton if he is spared in the first encounter. Unfortunately, he will ask Michael to betray the USA to guarantee his help.
After Thorton's final mission, Shaheed continues to rally forces against the US, apparently forgetting that Thorton is still alive, active and capable of bringing him down again.
