Alien Breed 3D is a sci-fi horror first-person shooter developed by Team17 and published by Ocean for both the Amiga and Amiga CD32 (Platform) in Europe in 1995.
A spin-off of the original Alien Breed (Franchise) trilogy of top-down shooters, Alien Breed 3D switches the genre to a first-person shooter similar to the Doom (Game) and Marathon (Franchise) series. As Captain J.T. Reynolds, players must make their way through an off-world military base, which is infested by hostile aliens, in order to find an escape. Along with a single-player campaign, the game features two-player deathmatch through wired consoles/computers.
It later received a sequel in 1996, known as The Killing Grounds. The source code for both games were later released as part of the cover CD for the March 1997 issue of Amiga Format.
