    Overview

    Andariel is a demon and one of the four lesser evils, her twin brother being Duriel, Lord of Pain. She is known as The Maiden of Anguish and is the final boss of Diablo II's first act. She is summoned by Diablo in the guise of The Dark Wanderer to hold the monastery and prevent any heroes on his trail from progressing. She causes trouble for the Sisters of the Sightless Eye when she begins corrupting members of their ranks. Among the first to fall to her influence is Blood Raven; the player-controlled Rogue in the original Diablo.
