The third annual Game Developers Choice Awards celebrated the best games of 2002.
Games that have other games, usually older games from the same game series or publisher, hidden inside them and that you can play. Sometimes available in the game world or hidden as collectibles or behind challenges. this page both lists the games that are inside other games and the games that host the latter.
These games were popular enough to warrant an anime, whether it was a full television series, an OVA (original video animation), or a feature-length movie.

Equines that go 'neigh' and tend to eat hay. Some are the stars of motion pictures. The truest of companions to many adventurers.

These are often a departure from the conventional gameplay of a game. There have also been compilations; games including only minigames. The Mario Party series has a lot of minigames, too!
A small animal that digs tunnels and mostly feeds on earthworms. Its eyesight is weak, but the smell and the touch are strong
A mole cricket is an insect which spends much of its time underground. It is also capable of flying and swimming.
A two winged insect. The females are known for sucking blood of mammals in order to obtain the nutrients required to lay eggs.
