Realtime Worlds boss Gary Dale has just confirmed at the Tech Media Invest event in London that APB will go into beta next week. Beta applications for the anticipated MMO-shooter opened in August. The title, the disc of which is being published by EA, is slated for a spring launch next year.

I did not apply because I figured I would not have enough time to adequately play and give feedback.  Hopefully players in the beta will have good things to share.

So when do you find out if you're in, if you haven't already?

Most betas usually give out the beta keys when the beta starts. "

I dunno, a lot of betas I've been in have given out keys as far as a month before. If almost nobody else has gotten anything else yet either that's a good sign though I guess. "

A shame my computer can't run it. I just have to work on scrounging the money together before the actual game comes out.

I thought I had applied a few months back, but I don't recall. Just applied again, have a feeling I won't get in from their website.
