    Overview

Completion percentage refers to progress made in a game based on the completion of a specific metric, such as the number of cars and tracks unlocked in a racing game or the number of items collected and levels completed in a platformer. In some games, the current completion percentage a player has attained can be viewed at any time during gameplay, while other games only report this percentage after the player has beaten the game. Some games allow for the player to achieve a completion percentage in excess of one hundred percent, while in others, bugs or other factors make it impossible to achieve a full hundred percent.
