I'm guess the order of submissions being approved is by order in which they were submitted. So there really isn't a point in turning the feature off...maybe just make it impossible to change one thing. Like editing a page just to add one similar game etc.
@Kush. Actually they are doing them out of order. I had some approved that were only 6 hours old as where I have others that are 50 hours old. So, dunno.

It's more difficult then you would think, the only way to really get there is by writing sold articles.
There's 400 pages with 50 subs on each page, plus there's a bug on the first page so we can't check subs there. The way the subs are listed are the oldest subs will be on the front page. But like I said there's a bug on the first page of the queue right now.

The points system isn't about achieving the supreme position of being able to submit without approval. It's just used to make sure you're loyal to the site and that you produce quality work. Soon enough, every regular will have 1000.
Once the first huge wave of submissions has gone through as either accepted or rejected and the majority of content on the site has been added then they should go through faster in the future. Just right now the situation is probably as soon as they finish moderating one submission another two replace it in the list.

I know you probably can't answer because you don't know the ins and outs of it, but is there any idea of whether that bug will be fixed, or is anything that was on the first page effectively lost? Just wondering. Thanks for the update BTW.

if someone sees something messed up, they are bound to change it.

As long as I have somewhere to eventually post my game reviews, I'm a dill pickle.
Most of my 4 or 5 subs have been for games that I can't find on the site. The only time I might take it upon myself to add or edit is if I see some sort of huge error in info or grammar.
yeah, I guess the reason I propose closing subs for a bit is since they are so far behind people are probably entering tons of dupe subs and exacerbating the situation.
