NO. I heard about this today. He is one of my favorite and most respected actors. This can't be true!

He's one of my favorite actors, I hope he doesn't go to jail. Unless of course he actually did assault his family members, then he definitely should.

Well, ON topic (for the thread) I just read about this on Yahoo, and that is pretty crazy. Of course, how many celebrities go to prison? I think Bale's arrest isn't really a huge deal.

There are reports circulating that Christian Bale was arrested for verbal assault, and one of Bale's rep is echoing that. Who knew, but we called around jolly old England and found there is such a thing as verbal assault, Class 4 and Class 5. Class 4 is more aggravated than 5, with "an intent to cause alarm."

Celebs are no different than us regular people.  They don't go beating each other up because they have more money.  The only reason it seems to happen alot is because people like you keep classifying them as "different".  They are human.  Get over it.

I am quite sure Bale isn't the first person to be accused of hurting family members, just like I am sure that Lindsay Lohan wasn't the first person to snort cocaine.

Oh whatever, he's not going to prison. "Stars" get arrested all the time and most of the time miraculously avoid bars. Unless he sent his mom or sister to the hospital they'll drop the charges and boom, over.
