Good times, Tape drive game loading at its best.
I recently Moved from the UK to New Zealand and was sorting out everything in the move and took out all the old games and took pictures of them
Check out this collection, this is only just over half, the others I did not get around taking a picture of. Dragon Seed was an ace game, I loved that and at home we were big fans of the golf games.

C64 Games
C64 Games
Any of these and the information not on the wiki I have started adding the information, much still waiting to be approved.

If you notice the batman game, now that was an interesting one since every single game came out broke. I got the game and exchanged it no less then 8 times and all of them had the same problem. Basiclaly you got to the point you did the car chase with the batmobile and the grapple hook and the game would crash, you could manage to load the end levels in the church but from those points on the game was totally bugged. Games back then had more problems then not, but still this was terrable.

Also, check out this lot as well, lol. Vic 20 baby yeah! (still works!)

I loved my Commodore 64.
It was my introduction to gaming, besides crappy handheld games in the 80's.
I actually still have it, safely tucked away in the attic along with 100 or so games.

Saboteur 2, Creatures 2, Spy vs Spy, and The Detective Game.. they don't make em like that anymore.

Not in that pile, Well it may be is the game pyrmaid? Can not remember the title, You were a stick man in a semi circle type ship thing going up a big pyramid with the levels being rooms you had to navigate shooting enemies through which was tough.

The football game at the top left was funny, my parents got it as one of my birthday presents and one morning I noticed the comodore on, No tape was in the player but on turning on the TV was a football game playable.
Anyone remember the outrun game as well? It took AAAAAAAAAaaaages to load up.

Ace of Aces as well bombing the Nazi's, ahh good times.

Yeah, it was my first platform too. I still have it somewhere in my room, and surprisingly, it still works!

That is the amazing thing for me is how even most of the tapes still work when I tried them out at xmas despite being tapes :o
The only real thing to break constantly was the joystics, anyone who played a lot of the athletics games with insane jagglining on the stick I am sure will remember when they snapped off in your hand

Yeah...that remembers me one of the greatest things about past gaming systems: the intercompatibility of the peripherals. I ended up using a pad that also worked on my Sega Genesis. Not the best for the athletics games though, lol.

"
I beg to differ, many of them were completely original.

My brother had a C64 when we were younger, never really got to play on it much so I stuck with the Speccy.
