The answer is No. FF13 is all but confirmed best on the XBOX 360. With every single previous multiplat running smoother and looking sharper on the X, FF13 will surely follow suit. EuroGamer's multiplat comparison puts the Xbox 360 and 0 loss for multiplats versus playstation 3. What makes sony fanboys think FF13 will be different?

Losing FF13 exclusivity is just the beginning. The real sting comes from the game benefitting on the POWER OF X with smoother framerate and quicker loadtimes especially now that you can install games on the 360 HDD. (Hell, even 360's installs are superior to ps3(Fully optional, quicker than ps3's installs, disc doesn't even spin AND increases the advantage 360 multiplats always have even further) The game will be BEST on X.

We have witnessed history at E3. FF13  Belongs to the power of X first and foremost.

If it took this long to announce the 360 version, then the PS3 is the lead platform or they're being developed now in parallel. But still, they'll probably run the same.

I believe that FF13 will actually run better on the PS3.  It is very true that pretty much all multi-platform games run better on the 360, but there is a reason for this.  Multi-platform games are developed on the 360, then ported to the PS3.  However, for FF13, the game was developed on the PS3 and being ported to the 360.  This is one reason why I believe this will be one of the few multi-platform games that will run better on the PS3. And as a side note, it will also be one disc on the PS3, not 2 or 3.

Honestly FFXIII may be a different situation. Out of the millions of FF fans that switched from the PS2 to next gen, which console do you think they picked? Odds are its the PS3 knowing that FFXIII will be available on it (Thats my situation at least). Do I think there's going to be a big difference between the two versions? Honestly no. Both are going to be great, both will sell well, and both 360 and PS3 fans (Or people with both like me) will be happy when the game is released.

yeah, it may not be much worse than the ps3 version, but that's only because microsoft is paying them off!!! Microsoft is just buying their development time and throttling back the quality of the ps3 version to make it equal to the 360 one and allowing it extra time to be developed so it can catch up with the half finished product that will come out for both platforms.

I'm not mudslinging! I'm saying that microsoft is paying off square to make a game of equal quality to the ps3 version in much less time and the only way they can do that is by making the ps3 version worse and working to make the 360 version catch up.

You are wrong. Crystal tools (used for FF13 development) are PC-based.
