Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to land on the moon, has just stated that aliens do exist and that we've been visited many times in the past. He also says Roswell was real. At 77, Mr. Mitchell has spent many years as a NASA astronaut and has been involved in extraterrestrial debriefings.

My question is for skeptics, has this changed your viewpoint? If not, then what will? Seriously? The Roswell images are the real deal, by the way, so look them up again.
Finally, credible sources saying aliens exist
"Of course aliens exist.... this universe is so big, so many planets, there is no way Earth is the only one containing life....
"
I totally agree, whether we have met one yet or not is up for debate, however its ignorance and arogance to think that Earth is the only planet that can sustain life.
With so many other planets and such a huge universe you have to aceapt that out all those many chances at least one more is like Earth.
Also life on another planet does not neccesarily mean it would be human in nature, it could be an insect and still be "Life". I'm suprised that people assume that if we ever find aliens they will be as smart or smarter. This is an obvious possibility but there is just as much chance that the life forms are bacteria etc.
I don't think we should give him more credibility just because he was an astronaut. Astronauts are people trained to go into space, and really wouldn't have business with extraterrestrial cover-ups anyway.

This reminds of something that happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go -- I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east! It was moving very irregularly... Suddenly, there was intense light all around me -- and when I came to, I was home. What do you think happened to me?

Remember, drugs are bad.
I wont believe something this unbelievable until i see it with my own eyes. But i still think the chances of there being life out there in space is high, considering how huge it is and in comparison we haven t explored any.

Once you study biology in-depth, you realize how much of a miracle life is.
to the non believers, think about this...Each star you see at night, is a sun like ours, each with hundreds of planets around it, also, there are stars beyond the stars, and then even more, sometimes i wonder, what lays beyond, it makes me sad that no one today would live long enough to even get to the nearest star even if they travelled at the speed of light.

yer i think there is, its kinda hard to beleive that with the universe so big that earth is the only plannet inhabited by living creatures.
"Karmum said:I know that, but you have to admit, for how big the universe really is, is it really that slim to think there is no life outside our planet? Besides, aliens is thrown around a bit loosely. After all, if this idea of "life outside of Earth", have visited us, wouldn't we be considered aliens in the eye of these life forms? They are only aliens because they don't "come from Earth." I think it they should be called life outside of Earth, or at the very least, extra terrestrial. Because that is the actual definition of life outside of Earth."Black_Raven said:But the chances that everything is aligned for life is so slim."I wont believe something this unbelievable until i see it with my own eyes. "I'm still not a believer."same here, well I don't believe that they've visited us.

"Karmum said:Well, certainly time will tell. I mean, look at Mars, obviously, there is no set and stone circumstantial evidence that there was life on Mars (and complex, for that matter), but there is that small possibility that there was. I just believe in those small things. You never really know."twenty0ne said:If you believe that there's simple life forms - yes, there's got to be some. But complex life forms? the universe isnt big, or even massive, its infinite.
There are probably planets with technology far surpassing ours, at their peak. There are probably planets with life just starting out.....There could be...Dinosaurs hehehehe
For those asking for proof, you'll have to define a little better.
Dr. Mitchell has said the Roswell incident is real. But, since you won't accept this, you fail to see all those images and videos as "proof". Therefore, look to other documented cases. There's some truth to a lot of the stories. In the next four years the British government will be releasing all their alien files to the public, so maybe you'll see something there.
Earlier this year a man claimed to have filmed an alien on camera. That footage has been sold to a documentary, which will air later this year. Perhaps that will provide your answers? But, being skeptics, I highly doubt it ...
In all seriousness though. I'm not whacko or anything, but I believe we've been visited many times in the past. Dating back to the Egyptians and beyond. I wrote a short article about why I think aliens helped the Egyptians build the pyramids. I'm posting it as a blog now, so feel free to criticize the hell out of it.
I saw this guy on Larry King a few weeks ago. Oddly enough he was arguing with Bill Nye about this very subject. The thing is if we have been visited it makes to much sense that the government would cover it up. There would be mass hysteria if they came out and said we have been visited by aliens. Also it would pretty much give solid evidence that all the religions of the world are false.
If there's other intelligent (which is the argument, no one disputes other life) life out there why haven't we seen it yet. Any civilization nearly advanced as our would have to have some form of communication that would indirectly come into contact with us. If there is intelligent life it's so far removed that it's irrelevant or they're living in the stone age.
I'm not so taken with the presumption of especially high credibility here though, given lots of other pilots have reported seeing UFO's and such. Being a great pilot and achieving great things doesn't necessarily mean a person is more intellectually or emotionally disciplined in regard to aspects of life outside of the area(s) of achievement (particularly well after the fact).
That's certainly not to suggest those men haven't earned a very high degree of respect by any means, however. Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan.
