What games have the best soundtrack?

What games do you think have the best soundtrack?

me personally i think MGS4 i love the soundtrack and even listen to it regularly. I also like kingdom hearts also.

The World Ends with You and Half Life 2 are both pretty good.

Halo series..Mass effect

FFX, the music that's played while you're on Besaide Beach is just... Awesome.

I've always had a soft spot for Metal Gear Solid music.  That stuff gives me chills its so epic.

I'm a big fan of the music from the Metal Gear Solid series and Shadow of the Colossus.

Metal Gear Solid and Chrono Trigger. I have the whole Chrono Trigger Soundtrack on my iPod. FROG'S THEME FTW!! 

I always liked Shadow of the Colossus and Streets of Rage 2.

I'm just going to go with the most obvious and say any of the Final Fantasy games.

Most of my favourite Game music is done by Jeremy Soule. GuildWars, Elder Scrolls ect.

Just wanted to add this, it's Yuna's theme from FFX.
I love this song so much.

GTA: Vice City. Case closed.

Metal Gear Solid series in my opinion.

Why has no-one said BioShock yet?  The soundtrack to that game was excellent.  It has a Rachmaninoff-inspired piano solo in it for goodness sake!

Golden Sun, Final Fantasy 7, Fire Emblem and Everyday Shooter.
Oh yeah, and portal but mainly for just having Still Alive.

Zelda : Majora's Mask had some seriously brilliant music in it.

Oblivion has a fantastic soundtrack as does Mass Effect.

I hated GTA: San Andreas as a game, but I think it has the best soundtrack of any game I've ever played. It's too bad that the most disappointing thing of one of my favorite games (GTA IV) is its terrible soundtrack.

I know since they're all 360 games I'll come across as biased, but besides these games nothing has really popped out at me based on the music coming in at the right times and being awesome.

Uncharted and Folklore, love the music in both!

I'd have to say Unlimited Saga is my all-time favorite.

MGS4 won best soundtrack with me by a long shot due to the sound quality alone. The music is beautiful, yes, but it's also incredibly crisp and clear, and it makes extensive use of a good surround sound system.

I've never played a game before or since that has had such excellent sound. I have a feeling that they used most of the space on the Blu-ray disk with high-quality audio. Hopefully more developers will do that in the future, because the overall effect was absolutely amazing.

Okami, all Mario games especially Galaxy.  Also The World Ends With You was pretty funky fresh. Ohh and the Halo franchise.

This gen Halo 3 and Mass Effect are my favorite's.
Classical always seems to go best with games. Makes them more epic :-)

I gotta go with Oblivion and Bioshock.  The fact that you could access the music as mp3's in the game directory was awesome.  Both albums sit in my ipod to this day.
