Its SUCH a great deal for a buck. I love when the grease gets all over the cheese. The most Ive ever ordered and eaten in one sitting was 9, but I could have eaten more, if I had more money. Nothing can ruin a day faster than order 5 and realizing they aren't on the dollar menu that day. Enough with the random "now its a dollar, now its  $1.69" bullshit , this needs to stop. If there is a timed schedule as to when the Double Cheeseburger is a dollar or not, and you feel confortable admitting you work at McDonald's, feel free to post the full schedule of dollar days in this thread.

I dont work there but in ohio its always on the dollar menu

The double cheeseburger has a way different taste than the cheeseburger at McDonalds, not just meatier, delicious-ier

Its my favorite fast food burger. Plus you really can't get any better deal then a $.99 double cheese burger.

i don't really know how to explain myself here, but I always get the good old original, single patty hamburger from Mickey D's. I think it tastes better even if it is less meat for the same price.

Over here it's on the pound menu, so that's like twice the price. =\

It tastes even better when you don't have much money on you and you are hungry. That's what I've found out.

I'm a fan of it every now and then, but I always have to order cheeseburgers without cheese...since they don't seem to have it ring up any other way. My coworkers used to call me a communist, because I didn't like cheese on my burgers.

Double Cheese Burger's are the best McDonald's offers. It's cheap, tasty, and the perfect thing to fill you up quick. Plus, a dollar!! Holy cow, that's good.

Only if you can stomach the shoddy grease.

And enjoy pooping.

If eating ground-up homeless people is your thing, then the McDonald's double cheeseburger is definitely right for you.
