Does a child of a Saiyan and a Human still count as a Saiyan?

Half-Saiyans sound even scarier and more confusing than full-bloods to me.

I was gonna make a joke about them being half-saiyans and then make a joke involving D&D-type attributes.  Then I realized I don't know enough about D&D to do that properly.

i believe they do. if they have sayian blook in them then they should be considered it.

Quarter Saiyan could transform? We never saw Pan transform, the only quarter Saiyan, we also never saw Bra transform... so is transformation proof of Saiyanism? What if only males could become Super Saiyans, but then in the final finale for DBGT we saw Goku Jr. (son of Pan) and Vegeta Jr. (son of either Bra or Trunks) transform and they were 1/8 Saiyan. If you have a saiyan parent and a human parent, you're half-saiyan, that simple.

There are tons of these "half-saiyans" in DBZ. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Pan, etc.
And i am pretty sure they are full saiyan regardless as long as one of your parents is saiyan. Gohan had a tail.

In Malaysia the character's name is a little different. Here's a few example;

Son Goku = Son Goku (still)
Vegeta = Bezita (which is better because Vegeta sounds like an abbreviation for vegetable)
Krillin = Kurin
Bulma = Bulma (still)
Mr. Hercule = Mr. Satan (AHA!!)

By the way I think a half-saiyan should never be as strong as a pure blood.

I would consider them to still have Saiyan blood. Remember though according to the series, the potential for the Saiyans power is related more to  the father's power level at the time of conception.

Gohan, Trunks and Goten are all half - Saiyans.
It's all nitpicking though, they can get gold hair, therefore win.

I just don't get why at the SS3 stage they have transparent eyebrows. That always bothered me.

If anything the half Saiyan children are going to be far stronger than the full bloods, remember Gotenx?. I guess Saiyan genes are dominant.

well id assume they wouldnt be as strong as a full saiyan. goku and vegeta are full saiyans and no ones stronger then them. but as long as thy have saiyan blood i guess they still count as a saiyan

In a few hundred years, some 1/256th Saiyan infant is going to be so powerful he'll have a tantrum and destroy the planet.

I think that each time they get weaker. I mean gohan was stronger then goku at a certain point, but gohan never made it to SS4. I think that with each generation they get weaker. I mean how could a pure-blooded saiyan be weaker then a 1/256? I can't believe this topic has gone so far...lol.

thats easy... saiyan + human = half-saiyan

To me half sayains are sayains because they still have the tail at birth and they transform into the giant ape. They go through most of the same things that full sayains go through.

for some reason, saiyans appear to become more powerful the more their bloodline becomes diluted.
In terms of age of SSJ-ing

Goku<Gohan<Goten
