Over the last few days, many topics have been started either supporting or speaking out against the creation of features shared by that infamous site, Gamespot.

So what direction should the Giantbomb go? Should it cater to requests of people who are nostalgic for the "glory days" of Gamespot? This seems logical because many, ok, most GB users came here from GS, and really enjoyed seeing Jeff, Ryan, Brad, Vinny, Rich, Brian, etc on features such as On the Spot. GB already has a podcast (Bombcast) similar to the Hotspot, and it's been very popular so far.

Or should GB forge ahead in a new direction and surprise us all with never-before seen content/featuresr?

Here's my opinion: I think they should add features like GS had, but just find ways to re-invent them. For example, the Bombcast almost was a direct successor of the Hotspot. However, the Bombcast had many things the Hotspot didn't have, such as the drinks segment and the lack of censorship.

What does the community of Giantbomb think?
