I guess we need a firmware thread for this board.
So the current version is 2.41 It fixes the bugs and crashes from 2.40

**Firmware Thread** Current Version: 2.41
I wonder what the next update will have? The home beta comes out this year, so either the next one or the one after will contain that I guess...
"I updated to 2.40 without any problems... and then 2 or 3 days later, 2.41! I mean come on, if you have to update all your systems, make it right, there was no rush for it... was it!?Well.. yes there was a rush for it. People have waited pretty much since the PS3 release for in-game XMB and it finally came with 2.40, but 2.40 didn't work for everyone and in some cases bricked some consoles so they had to release a fix in 2.41.
Everything works just fine now... what about next one!?

I think that they should have the complete MGS collection for sale on the PSN.
"Because the system is trying to play the game and open up the XMB, so i guess there is less memory available. In some games, it hardly loads at all.why everytime I press the psn button during a game, everything loads so slowly? isn't it possible to make the loading faster? this and the limited amount of things i can do during playing a game is what making frustrated over 2.41.

Only time I really found the XMB SLOW (still faster then the blades btw) is when I pull up the XMB while a game is at the loading screen.
Maybe if the PS3 had more RAM the in-game XMB would load faster. But it is still good and comes in handy.
