In this topic you list OCD type habbits and traits that you have. I'll go first.
-My computer desktop has to be devoid of any icons.
-I can't stand the sound of people licking or chewing. When my dog tries to lick itself I kick it to make it stop. However, cats can do it and it's fine; I even find it soothing, but only when cats do it. Otherwise it's gross.
-Whenever I buy a game I have to read the entire manual before I put it in the system. When I finally turn it on, i have to go to the options menu first. Also, when I'm read to stop playing, I have to pause the game before I turn it off.
-Sometimes I have converstations with myself in my head. I like to plan out how I will say things in certain senarios if the situation ever presents itself.
-Sometimes I pull out my own hair.
bad/odd /crazy habbits and traits that you have.
The talking out hypothetical conversations to yourself thing is either common human stuff, or we both need the same medication. I've had fake arguments in my head, and then been pissed off at something for what I imagined them saying to me.
- ^^
- i crack my knuckles waaay too much. Like not just my hands, but 90% of my joints I crack throughout the day, or sublocate them, and pop em back in.
- Bite my toenails.
- I won't borrow someone chapstick or let them borrow mine. and I really prefer to not share beverage with someone.
- I have will and have stabbed someone with a fork for taking food off my plat.e
- - I have a bad PTSD reaction to extended wet hiccuping sounds, as it to me sounds like the last gasping for breath of someone deing from a sucking chest wound, and it freaks me the fuck out, to the point tha i have exited a moving vehicle on a four lane highway to get away from it.
- can't stand people touching my head or my hair. Like have hit people for it.
- The blankets on the bed have to be spread out and squared up before i can get comfy, which annoys my GF, as she likes them bunched and twisted up.
wow, I should go see someone
- I don't step on cracks in the sidewalk.
- I do a number of things a specific number of times.
- I play the drums on any surface I'm sitting in front of for more than a couple minutes.
- I think out loud at ALL times.
I organize the condiments and such on tables at restaurants. Just kind of a forced habit. I've been told its very annoying. I don't see why though...
I also cant get to sleep without a tv running. Thank god for sleep timers or PG&E bills would sap me of all my money.

- I think before I do things. (Plan out what I'm going to type/say/do for a specific situation).
- I wash my hands after touching anything or at least rinse them in water unless I cant get to a washroom (at school/public place).
- I also wash my hands before I take something that's new out of it's box.
- I always rinse my plate/utensils before eating.
- I tap on stuff with my hand when I'm bored or I spin a pencil/pen through my fingers if I have one.
- I bite on the side of my cheeks.
- Sometimes if something's out of place it will bug me until I fix it.
- Spelling problems bug me so I make sure everything I write or type is spelled correctly.
Wow, I think I might actually have OCD lol.
I keep every box i get, i got my 360 at launch and the box has outlasted the damn console (nearly 3 years i think), my computer needs to be organized so everything is in the right place. I constantly tap on things with my hands, my hands have to always be clean with no marks on them, and what has now developed into a habit is buying an energy drink at least once every day.
Yeah, I plan out things in my head, alot. Hypothetical situations that probably would never happen, and sometimes end of getting into an actual conversation out loud.
Lets see:
-I bite my cheeks sometimes (as said by another user)
-Crack my knuckles alot
-Whether or not I have chapped lips, I will open my mouth wide, hurts when it is chapped.
-Had a pretty annoying problem like 3 years ago, could not stop cracking my neck. Would always do it like every 5 minutes. Easily controllable now, I might do it every hour or so. But that is just to get and kinks out.
-I have a tendency to sleep weird, I sometimes wake up with my neck feeling like shit.
-On with the sleeping topic, I normally wake up with my feet curled up, hence sleeping weird.
-Shorts all year round, even in the winter. Almost every day.
-Tendency to fold my legs onto each other. (i.e. indian style). Meaning I will bring one up for a normal foot over a foot, then bring the other one on top of it.
-Quite awkward flexibility. The ability to kick my head, and bring my feet to my head (when I'm standing up, I do it to check to see if there is anything on there), is quite surprised by many people. Among other flexible things. -_-
-Eating cereal at night. Not really awkward, but I have to eat cereal around like 11PM - 1AM. Just a habit I recently acquired in the past year.
-As somebody else mentioned, I only sleep with a TV on. I'm not afraid of the dark or anything, but just the way it is. Unless the power goes out at night and I'm awake, which isn't that common.
-I usually tap my fingers/drum on almost any surface at schools, pisses off my teachers.
-Somewhat mentioned before, I always manage to look up at the time the same time. What I mean, almost every day, whether it is the computer clock or a real clock, I always look up at 9:11 PM. I mean, its just I look at it and it is 9:11 PM, really weird.
-I like to bring all of my blankets up to a curled position when I go to sleep. Dunno why.
I'm missing alot, most of these are minor, but I know I'm missing probably a few major ones.
"Yeah, I plan out things in my head, alot. Hypothetical situations that probably would never happen, and sometimes end of getting into an actual conversation out loud."
same.
also I can be compulsive towards random things. Even though my room is very disorganized, and not that clean, the kitchen has to be clean at night.
I don't like ketchup.
When I was younger, I would not put milk in my cereal, I do now though.
I crack my wrists, my knuckles, my neck and my back
whenever i get to fill my own drinks, I have to mix at least two together.
I hate roller coasters, and the overall feeling you get when falling.
don't know about anyone else, but I don't give a damn about loose change.
more
-I don't put Ice in anything I drink.
-I eventually end up breaking every pair of glasses that I own.
-I tend to not do things, even when it's something I want to do. Yesterday I was at the store and I was going to pick up a game, but I decided I would do it later. I don't know why...

I can't lightly tap my keys. I have to press down hard, or else I get all squirmy and I can't sit still.
Anything near me either has to be in perfect alignment, or way out of alignment.
I have to press random keys on my keyboard and mouse really hard, at random.
When I'm writing with a pencil, I can never have tiny gaps in letters. I have to fill them in afterwards. Sometimes I have to fill in the holes in letters like "o" till they're solid.
I always have to be doing something with my hands- playing with something in my pocket, adjusting my shirt, or pressing random keys on my cell phone really hard (which is why I can never get a touch phone).
Whenever I brush over something lightly, I have to go back and press on it.
When I shave, I can't just go over once and then be done. I have to go over in one direction and then back over the other way so that one side doesn't fell more shaven than the other.
I have to balance everything. If I stretch my left calf, I have to stretch my right twice and then my left again.
I can't do hopscotch. If I do, I have to jump with both feet in every square or do an elaborate system of balancing out both feet.
When I'm typing and I hit a period, I have to hit comma and then delete. I have to press my scroll wheel randomly.
I have to press the nonfunctional keys on my MX518 all the time when I'm web browsing. Really hard.
I can't stack coins. It ends up too uneven.
I'm thinking of going to a doctor. I have to do breathing exercises to calm down, most of the time. Lucky for me, a keylogger would never be able to hack my system, because I have so many unnecessary keystrokes. I would estimate that I hit one unnecessary key for every 3 necessary.
Edit: When I'm walking on a sidewalk, I have to establish a pattern of stepping on cracks vs. regular pavement.
When stepping on stepping stones, I can't step on the edge. I either have to step squarely in the center or clearly on the edge with part of my foot firmly on the ground./
When clicking a mechanical pencil or clicky pen, I have to do it clearly.
When clicking any power button, I have to do it clearly or else I have to press it off firmly and then on again.
Sometimes I have to press all the buttons on my xbox controller.
Whenever I change the volume it has to be on the nearest five or zero digit. For example, if it's on 20 and I want it down, I'll change it to 15 even if a 17 would have been more optimal. Also, if I use one hand more than the other, I will go out of my way to make sure they're balanced again.

My laptop/Pc/360 has to be completely clean, like space wise, I do it often even though I know that theres not anything I could do to improve it.
I clean my 360 controller, like straight up take a pin to the holes and scrape out the crap >.<
I dislike clutter, so im always cleaning and getting rid of old stuff
I keep like re arranging my games/dvds because it feels like I dont own them, im fucked up I know.
My awkward habits:
I whistle whenever I'm in the shower.
After I shave, I tend to rub the sides of my face because it feels good.
There's always a song playing in my head... usually from a video game.
Whenever I sleep, I need to have the blanket covering my whole body except my head. Even my arms need to be under the blanket, or it doesn't feel right.
I break out in song randomly when I'm alone.
