Is anyone still playing PixelJunk Monsters and is it worth the $10.  I have been thinking about getting this for a while now.  Would really love a demo but there isn't so I must rely on my fellow giant bombians.

    I bought it yesterday.

It is awesome, hard and long (it sounded bad)

    You WILL NOT regret it

I play it constantly, it's just really addictive. I was also a fan of TD maps in Warcraft 3, not a fan of the flash games though.

If you like that there is a flash game called desktop tower defense that is just as addicting but free. BTW I was a huge starcraft and WCIII TD fan. - RG

Hells yeah, bought it quite recently and I have to say it's fantastic. It also has a co-op mode which can make it doubly fun/frustrating. It's definitely well worth the monies.

Now THAT'S what pisses me off, all of my hard work will go unnoticed when trophy support is added.
I've sunk many many hours into this game and they want me to do it all over again?

It will probably be easy to award certain things retroactively, since the game keeps track of completed levels and rainbows.

Also, another reason to buy it when they patch:  they will be adding in multiple difficulties.  They will have an easier difficulty, the normal (the current difficulty), and then a harder expert difficulty.  Sounds great for those people who found the original too difficult.

There is a demo, but alas, its a demo. But I did get it because I found myself playing the demo way too often.

I know this topic is pretty much dead, but i thought i would chime in and say "Best £3.49 i have even spend"

I have sunk so much time into it. I still play it to. Great game.
