Did Dan Eat a Hat? Sound off!

I'm okay with him eating an "edible" hat, though even that is pushing it. What he ate was a picture of a hat. That's not the same thing as a hat.

TBH, I was half expecting a gummy bear size hat shaped gummy.

I just searched edible hats and there are plenty of tortilla sombrero hat ideas. Even Binging With Babish has one. Was something like this ever considered? Have Dan wear it for an episode and eat it at the end.

I'm amazed Dan hasn't somehow made or have someone make him an edible tortilla hat ages ago already. It seems like a dumb thing he would actually love to do.

Gotta be something that was specifically designed to be put on a person's head, however temporarily. It can be edible, or he can boil it to hell or whatever to make it go down easier, but it's gotta be an actual hat.

If he had purchased an edible hat, put it on for a few seconds, and then eaten it, that would've been fine. That is not what he did. This is an "edible hat" in the same sense that he "chugged" a soda: in other words, it's not and he didn't.

I gotta agree, it is not a hat and furthermore not a sufficient enough commitment to the bit of eating a Non-Hat.

Did he say he would eat his hat? He didn't own the paper with a picture of a hat on it then. Dan needs to eat a hat he owned at the time he said that.
