Overview
Open Source Virtual Reality (OSVR) is a virtual reality head-up display project that is an open hardware device and uses open source software.
OSVR consists of two main and independent parts: open source schematics and drawings and open source software.
Open source software enables VR developers to discover, configure, and control VR devices across a wide range of operating systems. This software is licensed under Apache 2.0.
The main sponsors of the project are Razer Inc. and Sensics.
The HDK1 Self-Build Kit, version 1.4, was available to order in 2017 from the developer and enthusiast on the project website.
