  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 65: Rednex's "Sex and Violins".

I need to know if everyone is uncultured enough to not know Erasure, or if it's just because Jordan pronounced it wrong ...

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 61: Metallica's "Death Magnetic".

I haven't listened to this since it came out and giving it a quick skim now, I'm reminded of my opinion back then: Almost every track starts with a medley of like 10 different riffs and then they inv...

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 59: Metallica's Reload.

I feel the need to point out that there *is* a sequel called The Devil Comes Back to Georgia.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 55: Alien Ant Farm's Anthology.

I just wanna buck the trend and say I discovered 2M2LN via War On Women.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 53: Sonic Adventure 2 Soundtrack.

We weren't really allowed video games when I was a kid, so the first console I owned was a Dreamcast. I got it for £20, 5 years after it was discontinued. I mostly just played a lot of Soulcalibur.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 47: Transplants "Self-Titled".

Definitely should've had more about how Brody was 16 and Tim was 30 when they met.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 39: Mailbag!.

I listened to the GBHQ episode, but don't remember what Drew and Jeremy's opinions on Tool actually were. That said, I'm sure they were 100% correct.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 37: Loud Rocks.

Well, this has just made me want to listen to the Spawn soundtrack (mainly because of Jeremy talking about Atari Teenage Riot), so that's what I'll be doing with my evening.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 36: Around the World with The Chipmunks.

We're getting a spin-off show where Emily makes Drew eat different things each week, right?

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 33: Billy Joel's Attila.

Coming in like a week late to say that there are some great two-piece metal bands! Year of the Cobra are just a drummer and a bassist/vocalist and they're brilliant.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 28: Godsmack's 1,000 HP.

I remember being a teen and going to the cinema with my girlfriend and seeing The Scorpion King because Queen of the Damned wasn't showing.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post Albummer! 27: Kid Cudi's Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven.

Can't believe we got cartoon impressions and we didn't get to hear Jordan do the Joker. I miss it from the old days.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 25: Billy Idol's "Cyberpunk".

Ah, Enhanced CDs, where you'd put them in your computer and they'd install QuickTime. And they all used a different version of QuickTime.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 25: Billy Idol's "Cyberpunk".

I didn't know Billy Idol was Australian.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 24: Funny Minions Guys.

Or when record companies tried to combat illegal downloads by spreading versions of songs that were just 30 second samples on loop.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 24: Funny Minions Guys.

Saying about the weird repeats of partial songs reminds of when The Wildhearts covered the Cheers theme, but didn't bother to do the full song. So it's just the verse/chorus from the show opening rep...

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 20: Taste of Christmas.

You guys need to look up some interviews with Benji from Skindred, as he's not "very Jamaican" when he talks. He's very Welsh.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 16: Good Charlotte's Youth Authority (featuring Jeff Bakalar).

Rancid are definitely a pop punk band. It's not about what kind of music you play, it's about dating a 15 year-old when you're 30.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 14: Crazy Frog's More Crazy Hits.

Astonished that no one suggested Jesus Built My Hotrod should get the Crazy Frog treatment.

  • bruitist posted a message on the post ALBUMMER! 11: Sting & Shaggy.

@tm24: They did it on the old 2 Minutes podcast. No idea if those episodes are still available somewhere. I remember them liking it a lot.
