As bad as it can get 0

Sonic Forces is a bad game, I will just get that out right now. If you are coming to a review of Sonic Forces nearly three years after it was released to see if it was a good video game or not you can stop reading now. It is a bad game, you should not play it; please save yourself and move on. If you want to know why it is a bad game and why I subjected myself to this torture continue on.So how did I end up here, you may ask. Well reader it all started out with a little thing called Sonic The He...

What if Deadpool was Diablo? 0

Marvel Heroes is a free to play action-RPG with slight MMO hooks, so it hits 3 of the more recent trends in video games. Marvel Heroes was developed by Gazillion Entertainment and David Brevik, the man behind two of the most influential action-RPGs, Diablo and Diablo 2, is behind the wheel of this wild comic themed adventure.Marvel Heroes starts you off with a decision that will shape the way you play the game forever, which of the five starter characters do you want to play as. You get to choos...

Police Procedural at its Best 0

LA Noire is a game developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar. Team Bondi had been working on LA Noire for awhile before Rockstar came around to publish it. It was originally slated to be a Playstation 3 exclusive, but was changed after Rockstar came in to the story. When I started hearing about LA Noire again after the long break of hearing nothing about it, I then saw the Rockstar name attached to it. Not really knowing what LA Noire was I was fully expecting, Grand Theft Auto:Los Angel...

Source Engine Still Amazes Me 0

Portal 2 is the followup to Portal which was originally a pack in the the Orange Box. Portal 1 could not have held up as a stand alone product which is why many people were doubting Valve’s decision to make Portal 2 a full retail game. The original Portal only clocked in around three-four hours, which as a pack in with four other games is long enough. Portal 2 is full price and it is a full length game. First play-through of the single-player netted me around eight hours. The single-player could...

Kinda Cheap but Really Fun 0

Mortal Kombat 9 (that’s what I will be calling to clear up any confusion) was developed by NetherRealm Studios . NetherRealm Studios is made of members from Midway Chicago and WB Games Chicago. Mortal Kombat 9 goes back to the 2D fighting style of those first three games. Mortal Kombat 9 is also a return to the blood and gore that we all enjoyed, which was absent in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. Now I have never really gotten in to the previous Mortal Kombat games as I felt they were extremely d...

Dead Men to Dog Days Improvement? Not Enough 0

Kane and Lynch 2:Dog Days is a third person shooter developed by IO Interactive and published by Eidos Interactive. Kane and Lynch 2 is the sequel to the critically hated Kane and Lynch:Dead Men. Kane and Lynch 2 is a game that I wanted to play even knowing how bad the first one was. It was promised that many improvements have been made over the first game. This maybe true since I have not played Dead Men at the time of writing this, but if things have been improved I am not sure that I want to ...

5$ Zombie Slaughter? 0

Dead Rising 2:Case 0 is a prequel to the upcoming Dead Rising 2. Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Case 0 are being developed by Blue Castle Games. Dead Rising 2:Case 0 is Blue Castle’s first shot at a Dead Rising game. The big hook in Dead Rising 2 is the combo weapons that the protagonist, Chuck Greene, can make at work benches scattered around the world. Combo weapons are this games version of the photography that the first dead rising had. Case 0 has ten of the 50 combo weapons that will be ...

Darkness Hasn't been Brighter 0

Remedy (the developers of Max Payne and Max Payne 2) have been working on Alan Wake since early 2000. That may seem like a long time, and that is because it is. Alan Wake has gone through many changes over the ten year development cycle. The final product was well worth the wait for people wanting to control horror novel author, Alan Wake. To be honest I was not really interested in this game until it came out and I started seeing more about it. In the game you play as a writer aptly nam...

Would Have Been Better at 40 0

Green Day:Rock Band is another installment in the rock band franchise, and like The Beatles Rock Band it follows only one band through their career. While Green Day is not as prestigious as The Beatles they do make a fun game. There are forty-seven songs on disc along with six songs that are compatible with Green Day Rock Band. Those six songs being the six green day songs already to be released as downloadable content for previous rock band games. Green Day Rock Band shipped with forty...

The Fab Four + Plastic Instruments = Best Music Game Yet 0

I am going to be completely honest and come out and say that when I first heard that Harmonix (developer of Guitar Hero 1 and 2 as well as Rock Band 1 and 2) was going to develop a band-specific game I was kind of upset. The reason being Activision (who has developed all the Guitar Heros from Guitar Hero 3 on) has put out two full band games as of now and neither did the bands justice. So hearing that The Beatles were getting their own game was kind of off putting. My mind was changed aft...

Great and Addictive Multiplayer 0

The Call of Duty series has been innovative in the over-played genre and the team behind Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2 has finally learned that the WWII FPS genre is over played and the FPS needed a new spin. So Infinity ward has developed one of the best FPS in recent memory. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and as the subtitle suggests this is not another WWII game is takes place in modern time. Now let's talk about the story. The story in CoD4: MW is all fiction but takes bits and pieces from...

A game that you wont soon forget 0

The Burnout series has pretty much been the same since the beginning with slight changes and graphical updates. In my opinion i think Burnout Paradise is the best of the series. Many games have tried the open world concept, and most of them have failed. Burnout successfully tackles the open world concept. If you played other burnout games you will be familiar with this one even though it can get confusing and annoying at times. You start out the game with a junker and have to go to the repair sh...
