Was cruising until Fionn mac Cumhaill. Probably need to do some grinding.
-
Made it to the 1st large city and just kinda fell off.

Was missing my co-op partner from the 1st 3 games, which is why it's taken me so long to get to it.
Never been a huge fan of tower defense, so not entirely pleased to see horde mode aspects in the main game, but they aren't that bad (on amateur). The rest of the game was classic Gears of War, though I lost the plot somewhere with the timeskip.

My computer struggles to run it so I've installed and did the 1st chapter now that I've purchased an Xbox Series X.
-
Never finished it, but brought my save over to the series X. Would like to finish it, but it's hard to go back after playing later Horizons.

Finally found a build that got me through the main game. Ran a melee Scion with a tanking emphasis. Could take everything except those AoE damage fields that just melt your HP. Build fell apart in the post game, but I accomplished what I set out to do.

I hate to leave content unfinished, but at a certain point (about 100 hours in), I just ceased to care. I felt little attachment to any of the gacha blades and didn't really care for the weapon/skill sets of the ones I did. Quest progression became a chore as I hit skill checks locked behind trust locks on the affinity tree for increasingly meaningless rewards.
The main game was fine. Combat felt weaker than previous games, Didn't care for 3 skills/3 blades model. Even though it technically gave you access to more skills, blade switching added an extra step to get to them and an extra cool down.
