Stuffed Animal

Overview

Stuffed animals come in many forms, varying from the famous Teddy Bear to monkeys, rabbits, frogs, etc. The term stuffed animal moved on from being codeword for taxidermy to being made from synthetic materials for children. Stuffed animals are now often given as presents for various holidays/occasions such as birthdays, graduations, Valentine's day, etc. In games and movies, stuffed animals are often used as devices to scare the audience' i.e. protagonist walks into dark room with moldy stuffed bear in corner, proceeds to examine stuffed bear, then fear ensues. Stuffed animals can prove to be both soft and comforting and in other situations dark and horrifying.
