    Tango Gameworks is a Japanese development studio formed by Shinji Mikami and a number of other ex-PlatinumGames members. The company was acquired by Zenimax Media in October 2010. After Game Republic shut down in 2011, Tango hired many of its employees.

    Shinji Mikami intends to direct a single game--being The Evil Within--at the studio, and then permanently leave his position as a director to become a full-time producer and give younger employees a chance to direct.
