Ranking of Tekken Endings 2

@danryckert Planting a seed here... but after all this lore, maybe a Tekken invitational tournament? Except all AI battles (AI Arena is my favorite part of Arcade Pit). Unless you're all really good, it'd be fun to see some of these characters go at it since we're all getting an education in Tekken's backstory.

And to think, we haven't even gotten to Lidia the Polish Prime Minister, Lucky Chloe the mascot of G Corporation, or Bob and his alter ego Slim Bob.

When I was like in second grade (in the 90s), there was some sort of outbreak of something at my school and they ushered all the kids through a line in the gymnasium and gave us all vaccines with a gun like that (or similar). I recall it being really quick and painless and wondering why all shots weren't like that.

I don't care at all that their ranking methods are entirely arbitrary and cause self-inflicted confusion. It's just fun seeing them react to the fun stuff and dunk on the boring junk.

I said this on the other video, but scientifically, I'd prefer it if they ranked all of the "good" endings and left everything else in the dump. That way they don't have to cut "good' endings and send them to the abyss which is the dump. Just rank every "good" ending and don't stick to having only 30 that are ranked. The issue is that a lot of these endings that were down in the late 20s are good, but they have to be sent to the dump where they were just completely erased.

If all of the good endings are ranked, then you'll still have a pretty clean list, even if there are more than 30.

Holy shit, the repeating music was really drilling itself into my brain. Thank god that was just during the Tournament endings.

Also I hope you'll just do a quick ranking of all the intros too, even if 5's opening might already be the winner. Three's opening just wins for me with the strength of nostalgia alone.

This is still great! Something that might be fun to add on at the end: Kazuya's Smash announcement trailer. It's VERY similar in tone and I think would be a LOT of fun to see the reactions to after these!

It's very interesting. Entering the PS2 era, the endings can't be carried by their shitty graphics and goofy music anymore. They have to be intentionally entertaining to get ranked.

In hindsight, it might have been better to rank each game's endings independently, and then make a master list to rank the best couple from each game at the end.

i agree but at this point mr. listkeeper has been easing stuff already n based on how this 2nd ep went i'd say they're sorta 'locked in' to this current method

I do think they should sift back through the Dump once more right before the end for any that might have been too hastily cut.

Not gonna lie was expecting a lot more of tekken 5 to rate higher, but their preference is the 90s awkward comedy vs the modern comedy tropes so I sort of get it
