Overview
In the writings of Godfrey, she is depicted as a messianic figure, the daughter of Lucifer and the goddess Diana, sent to Earth to teach the peasant folk witchcraft to combat the Roman Catholic Church. Despite her origin stemming from folktales, she has since become a key figure in pagan mythology.
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
Born in the Shadow Vortex world, chosen by Yuko Takao as her sponsor for the Creation. Shadow Vortex worlds are those that have failed to achieve Creation, where a Conception did not occur and the life of said universe has simply dimmed out like an old light bulb losing power. The gods and demons of these worlds become false gods, stripped of their power, they become empty husks due to nobody believing in them.
They seek new realities to regain what they've lost. Aradia is such a god, she sought out Yuko Takao to help her achieve Creation. Their very existence is forbidden, however, as they are meant to be dead and thus can't directly interfere with the laws of death and rebirth. This means that all she can offer is hope, and sharing her own wisdom. Ultimately, she ends up abandoning Yuko once she's gotten her own physical form.
She poses questions for the Demi-fiend in late game, which can potentially affect the game's outcome and the moral patch you end up on.
It's interesting to note that the Lady in Black refers to Aradia as "trouble", when she first appears, which implies that it isn't the first time she and her master ´has run into her. And maybe, she's more influential than she appears.
