The Ballad of Gay Tony ratchets up the multiplayer intensity to a new level with a complete overhaul for an action-packed, over-the-top experience. Tanks, attack choppers, new weapons, and, of course, parachutes make their multiplayer debut alongside new, tighter Deathmatch arenas, kill streaks, and assisted kills. It’s Grand Theft Auto multiplayer made more intense than ever.

Yes, yes, yes a million times over. GTA4's multiplayer is not the complete shitfest that GB makes it out to be, but getting matches together is the biggest pain in the ass. I've never seen multiplayer with as much potential get killed by network crap and interface issues than GTA4's.
The aiming system made GTAIV unplayable for in deathmatch modes, griefing dudes in free mode is where it's at! Actually I had a lot of fun in team deathmatch by running over my teammates nonstop because friendly fire is off.

get real. we all know gears 2 takes that title, hands down. the only thing it's 'hampered' by is you chumps not playing it. what is it? too many playlists to wrap your head around?
i was just saying to myself that if they introduce better choppers, tanks and parachutes into the multiplayer, they'll make this game instantaneously better, which is great considering it's already one of my favourite games ever.

I agree with brad that truthfully the single player portians is what gets my attention with my GTA, still noice to know the options there. Just hope there'll be some more coop missions to undertake.
