God Eater 1 and 2 and Tales of Beresia are coming to PC as well. Always wanted to check God Eater out so I'm excited that that's coming here.

But can I play as a Hygogg? (ALSO FINALLY WE CAN DUNK ON CHARS DUMB GOLD ROBOT)

I have the Japanese version of Eyes of Heaven and I can confirm the presence of S tier posing.

One day we might actually get one of these Gundam games on an actual console. But I guess it will give me a reason to play my vita that just gathers dust since my 3ds has more JRPGs on it these days.

God Eater and Gundam are both rad, and I really hope this new Tales game sticks more towards the Symphonia/Xillia side of things.

With the God Eater 2 and Gundam Extreme Vs. probably being digital only on the Vita and Eyes of Heaven only being the PS4 version for some reason I was really just let down by this announcement. Also is Tales basically a yearly franchise now because that sounds fucking horrible.

Hoping Tales of Beresia is better than the last entry of the series.

Happy to see to see Gundam ex coming over. Was seriously thinking of importing it.

The PC versions are great news. My decision not to buy a PS4 or Xbox one is looking better and better (I'll probably get one eventually).

They also put out a new trailer for One Piece: Burning Blood. Been too long since a decent OP fighting game has come to the states.

All of this stuff is really cool and it is pretty interesting that Bandai Namco is continuing to make Western exclusive PC ports for a lot of their games. They are doing it again for Tales of Beresia and they are porting both of the God Eater games to the PC. Kind of exciting to see more Japanese developers finding a new audience on Steam.

The Tales games have actually been a yearly franchise for a long while now in Japan (with the occasional two year break in-between certain big titles). It's just that the English releases have finally caught up and are now being published only a few months after the Japanese instead of a few years after.

I'm hoping that Namco is gonna give the green light for a Tekken 7 on the PC.

Just reminds me how far behind I am with Tales. Vesperia is still the newest one I've played. Along with Xenoblade Chronicles X, I'll have to add one of them to the shame pile for next year.

In other JRPG news I'm glad to hear that there's a new Ys to be released in Japan next Summer, though I think it might be too early for Falcom to talk about localizations yet. I hear Adol washes up on a mysterious island in this one!

JoJo! I was just looking into whether there was a PS4 JoJo game a few days ago and hoped it'd make it over. Better look into it some more then.

I had my fun with the Gundam games on the PSP until I got into the Macross games and never looked back.

@austin_walker I heard this particular Gundam Extreme Vs game doesn't actually have online play.

Between that and being on the Vita, I can't imagine it'll do well.

Anyone recognize the other suit in the screenshot besides Exia? It's got a pretty distinctive backpack, but I just can't remember where it's from.

Glad to see Bandai-Namco actually finally doing something with their franchises outside of Japan. Sadly it has not been in time for the games I wanted.

They left me hanging with .hack/Llink. Sure just stop at the finale to your entire like decade long multimedia franchise.

Also while its great that they are releasing Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth. How do you not put out Digmon World Redigitize: Decode? The original Digimon World is the standard by which all Digimon games (and to me all games period) are judged and so far they have all failed except Digitize which was modeled after it. The international audience have hounded them for years about it probably louder than Operation Rainfall. Then they do an updated release on the 3ds a system people actually own internationally. Still nothing. The fan did ask for Cyber Slueth but it was always an addendum Digimon World Redigitize.

I've got a PS3 and a Bone so I was hoping that for an English release they'd A) release the PS3 version of JoJo here or B) port it to the Bone like they have been doing for US releases recently on their anime games.

Austin got me into Gundam so I watched 0079 but I couldn't find Zeta anywhere so I can't watch any more Gundam. Austin giveth, Austin taketh away.

I was very impressed by how well that series balanced a huge war, single skirmishes, and individual characters though. Extremely impressed, actually.

I am really intrigued by by the new Tales game. I don't want to say Darker = Better, but the angle they are going with that game seems pretty compelling.

Needs some of the new Iron Blooded Orphans lineup.

@wrathofgod: You can always start watching the newest series (Iron Blooded Orphans) which is available online for free. It's a completely different universe, but retains a lot of the grounded nature of the early UC stuff.

That Digimon game (Cyberslouth) also looks pretty good, I'm surprised in how good it looks.

Also this is pretty cool. Bummed that there's no console (PS4) Gundam Vs. game, as playing weird/dumb/anime fighting games with some of my friends is way better than solo on a Vita. Also iffy on that JoJo game, the last one was a straight 2D fighter, which was awesome, and this is more like the Naruto games and stuff which I'm more "eh" on. I've also become more sensitive to spoilers for the series since that last game came out, so unless I can find well translated versions of Arcs 5 & 6, I'm probably gonna skip it.

I really liked Zestiria (which going by these comments is a minority opinion?), but the main characters design for Berseria already kinda turns me off of it a bit. It mostly comes down to the combat though, if they give me more Graces/Zestiria combat I'll put up with pretty much any story/character stuff. They play SO much better than any other Tales game it's crazy.

I've been waiting so long for a western release for Gundam Extreme Vs and it's on the one system I don't have...
