Free Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood DLC Hitting In December

A new map and a new mode to stab people in! Stab, stab, stab.

Need a new Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood level or mode to stab dudes in? Want 'em or not, you'll be getting both if you choose to grab "Animus Project Update 1.0," a free DLC pack which should hit both Xbox Live and PSN on December 14, according to Ubisoft.

The new map, "Mont Saint-Michel," is set on the island of Normandy, France. Ubisoft says to expect plenty of tight steets, high places, and multi-tiered buildings. It also says that the scenery is "breathtaking," so do remember to focus on inhaling and exhaling the first time you see it.

The new mode, "Advanced Alliance Mode," is basically an update to the game's pre-existing "Alliance Mode" that makes it more challenging for experienced players.

Ubisoft says this DLC isn't about keeping the disc in your hands, though I'd imagine it wouldn't mind if you did. The DLC is free because you helped make the game "such a success on opening week," according to Ubisoft Montreal's Sebastien Puel. Don't you feel special now?
